I love the "golden atmosphere" of this picture, and the reflection on the water. It is somehow very "warm", but not necessary a "feel-good-warm".
That person seems to tell a story - a story that might be at the beginning. Or a story where someone has to go beyond - beyond the river, cross it and so get to the other side of it. Not really knowing what awaits him - on the other shore.
Btw - nice composition with you at 1/3 of the picture, and the hill to the right seems to point towards you, with the left trees supporting that line
